"There are experiences in life that change the course of our journey. Some last just moments and others take years to do their work within us. They may feel innately spiritual, excruciatingly painful, or a mix of both. To truly experience all that life has to offer, we simply can’t have one without the other."
-Sarah

I was raised in central Tampa, in the heart of a diverse and urban historic district. I discovered a deep love for culture, language, and music at a young age, and it evolved over the years into integrating that love into the world of social services. The desire to help others took me to Latin America and Asia, and then stateside where I continued my education and experience in social work serving female survivors of sexual abuse, trauma, and addiction in different capacities since 2013.

My work with trauma survivors included leading teams in residential settings, case management, crisis intervention, advocacy, intervention, and prevention on a micro, mezzo, and macro scale.

In 2019, I married my wonderful husband and inherited five step daughters. Growing into the role of stepmom has been the hardest, most complex and profoundly beautiful experience of my life. If it wasn't for the support of my husband and our close-knit community, there is no way our family could have made it through the challenges of building a stepfamily.

Since then, I also birthed two children and in that process became amazed at the strength, complexity, and resilience of the female body! I began my work as a birth and postpartum doula in 2020 and have supported birthing women and new mothers in all types of scenarios.

In 2023, I became a certified parent coach. As time went on, I began to specialize my practice to focus on stepfamilies, working with stepmoms who desire to strengthen their stepfamilies and create peace within themselves and their homes. Working with women in all of the rites of passages of life is my God-given calling and passion! I'm so grateful to get to do what I love every day of my life.
